Kathie provides psychotherapy and adjunctive therapies for a range of conditions including depression, anxiety, PTSD, addictions, and adjustment difficulties. She is trained in psychodynamic theory, cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, neuroemotional technique, and

the Patrick Carnes model for sex addiction and accompanying spousal trauma. Kathie is trained in craniosacral therapy by the Upledger Institute. It is used to help rebalance the autonomic nervous system, aids in relaxation, and is very helpful for traumatic brain injury, insomnia, and chronic pain conditions.

Neurofeedback is another modality available through Kathie and her technician. This is helpful for learning challenges, PTSD, head injury recovery, and addiction recovery of all types. In addition to neurofeedback, Kathie incorporates red light therapy with Vielight, Stimfield, and The VIBE System from Bioharmonic Technologies.

The National Acupuncture Detoxification Association has a protocol to help with drug withdrawal and cravings. It consists of five needles placed in each ear. It is  useful in smoking cessation as well as drug and alcohol addictions. Kathie was trained in the NADA protocol in 2010.
